Chuckleberries Pre-School opened at Bury Village Hall in September 2003, providing structured sessional care for children aged 2½ up to 5 years old. Fully registered by Ofsted, Chuckleberries is open for 46 weeks of the year, consisting of term-times (5 days per week) and Holiday Clubs (3 days per week). All sessions run from 9.00am until 12.30pm which includes lunch and outdoor recreation. The philosophy : Above all else, Chuckleberries endeavours to provide a happy experience for its children, with lots of opportunity to chuckle! Parents are always made to feel welcome at the pre-school and are kept fully and regularly informed of their child's progress. We promote equality of opportunity for children with special needs, ensuring that all children have the appropriate opportunities to learn through play and that all families feel welcome. Chuckleberries was able to get established thanks to lottery funding from the New Opportunities Fund and now operates as a registered non-profit-making charity. The premises : Located at the recently refurbished Bury Village Hall, which provides extremely spacious and bright accommodation, Chuckleberries is able to provide a well-balanced mix of indoor and outdoor activities. With the well-equipped, modern playground and large, secure grassy area of Bury Green directly adjacent to the hall, and the abundance of nature on its doorstep just waiting to be explored, Chuckleberries is the perfect place for pre-schoolers. There is also easy access and car parking. | |
