Ofsted Report

Ofsted Report

On 24th November, 2014 after a very long six year wait Ofsted visited Chuckleberries to carry out an inspection of the facilities and our teaching of the children.   We achieved a GOOD grade and are delighted with the effort and hard work put in by Jo and her team.

The report summarises Chuckleberries as follows:

  1. Children are confident and display good levels of independence during activities. This is  because staff are positive role models and offer lots of praise and encouragement.
  2. Children are making good steady progress in their learning and development. Staff focus on children’s interests which motivates them to learn.
  3. Staff have secure and warm relationships with all of the children. Consequently, children are happy, settled and enjoy their time at the setting.
  4. Partnership with parents is good. Staff effectively share information regarding their children’s development and encourage further learning at home.
