St James' at Coldwaltham - The Home of Chuckleberries

St. James’ School is set in the beautiful surroundings of the South Downs, in the spacious grounds of the attractive village of Coldwaltham. The school, founded in 1848, remains a small, vibrant, lively and, happy place to learn and grow. St. James’ is features outstanding facilitates inclusive of three large and bright classrooms, a library, the mains school hall and large outdoor learning spaces. The hall provides ample room for while school assemblies, dance, drama, PE lessons and hot school lunches – served from the adjacent kitchen. Outside, the large hard surfaced playing area is complemented by playing fields and a climbing frame. The school is fortunate enough to have use of swathes of woodland bordering the school for nature activities and outdoor lessons.
